This summer, the Peoria Sub hosted many joint IC-BNSF run-through trains that utilized the BNSF to link the CN/IC(ex-CC&P) Iowa Division at East Dubuque, IL with the CN/IC at Peoria.  One such train, seen here on 6/29/01 with a pair of IC SD70's leading, was westbound to East Dubuque at Yates City, IL.  The symbol for the BNSF portion of this move was the X-PEIEDU1-27, designating an empty grain train.

The BNSF crew off of this E. Dubuque grain load has tied down their train on the P&PU's Pekin Main under the conveyor system for the ADM facility on Wesley Rd. in Creve Couer, IL. This train is one of the many utilizing the joint CN/IC-BNSF Chicago bypass through the Peoria Gateway.
