A little time warp here. I'm not sure when this photo was made(it's before I kept accurate records), but I would guess it's sometime shortly after the BNSF merger. Here, at Elmore Rd. east of Williamsfield, IL, on the ex-ATSF transcon, an eastbound manifest freight comes out of the afternoon sun. This solid BN consist was quite a treat, I've always liked those GE B units. Too bad they didn't stick around longer.
